Nice one Orac although go easy on the pics as we are still getting battered by 80mph winds.

ive heard out in aus they use a lot of yellow jelly(nasty stuff) is this true? was thinking about going out myself end of this year im a part two does anyone know if they do use much tube and fitting?what the wages are like and is scaffolding classed as a skilled trade on visa?cheers
 
Alrite Orac. Are you on one of those 2 year residency plans? Hope you can stick the flies and heat mate. Got a mate who just came back. Only needed 3 more months and gave up. Now wishes he stayed.Good luck to you ad your family.

System scaffold is used but mainly in the cities. Wages are great in remote areas.Scaffolding is not a trade is it in UK these days???? Out of the 1,000 tonnes still standing on this project only 50 tonnes is system (Layher). tax is 46% once you start earning decent coin.
 
is there many scaffoldin jobs out there havespannerswilltravel or not mate, do they take ladss with out tickets aswell or is it like this contry no ticket= no job!!
