Tis true, london is full of smoggies, slowly meandering there way round the city and west end with a double in each hand, all just waiting for the call from capes or salamis and that golden ticket to the promised land they call.....Offshore! :toung:

How the **** did smoggies build most of London????? Londons a big city don't think the egos or bellies would have fitted down here I've come across a few apart from one grafter/machine the rest would only leave the smoking section for a moan up or break and when they did have their spanner in their hand it was only to scratch their backs with it! And that was only after taking off there harness then hi viz then the worlds heaviest tool belt and then the overalls Blinding banter granted but that's all lol

Very true as I'm a 2015 scaffolder in London I'm good at translating gunny and yes the words offshore and capes did come up more than once the best time was there was a gang of 3 one cockney and 2 smogs 2 off them were just standing there propping up the handrail ( no prizes given for guessing which 2 lol ) being critical of the other bloke he was on a hoist tower putting 16ft/21ft beams in by him self ffs!!!! Unbelievable it was

That is very true. That is why they are still building in the smoke cos the smoggies have either been on strike or hiding in the bogs for years.

And I suppose the letters "BORO" will be scrawled all over the ancient, historical and beautiful capital of the United Kingdom?
I can remember seeing the letters scratched into a beautiful oak table in Hamburg not to mention the lads who painted it in 3 foot high letters on the wind walls of a rig we were refurbishing when they were dismantling the scaffold. It was a very sheepish crew who had to re erect the job for free the next day.
