Desperate in Dubai

Vancouver think youl find that the original PHD was brought out in early 90s by Formscaff which Rob West was involved with( he was also involved at original phd) , when formscaff pulled out of the south east - he set up in 1995 as Benchmark
Benchmarks website has a newsletter on it with the history of the firm , likewise phd website also has articles concerning the original phd scaffold co
 
Knew a guy who ended up with Carillion sean but he was with tarmac before bigbadbob
know a few murray roberts guys who built dubai airport must have been difficult dealing with them as sth africans
did a bit with al futtaim a few years ago so must have been about same time as you

Didnt Johnnie Walton (not the goodnight johnboy) work with benchmark?
I remember him from Wise Plant and Century
 
Yep you got it, Shaun is still there, i am still in contact with him, last i heard from Shaun was that he had resinged, if thats so then he would be gone now or maybe end of this month, dont know what his notice period iin contract was. Of course met alot of Murray & Roberts guys (SA's) made alot of good friends, most ok blokes, still in contact with a few.
 
of FormscaffNot too sure but I believe Benchmark came out of the remains of Formscaff when PHD went tits up,
ROb West very nice guy was trained at SGB he used to be the Brighton Manager

Benchmark was formed when formscaff pulled out of london and the south (as states in a benchmark newsletter)
