The integrity of existing ties is another debate I suppose,tho scaremongering will make everyone run for the hills. There are load bearing advertising platforms bolted to walls on gallows brackets,been up for years with no sign of weakening,I wonder how often these are tested. ow much does it cst to stick a new tie in anyway. price has to be in by monday!!!

I wouldn't trust old tie points for the simple fact back in the day it was common to use the hilti's and these were only guaranteed when fixed into concrete.

You say that but tbh the HKD drop ins with the exception of chem ties was all that were really used it was only with the intro of tg4 that we started to look at other fixing options
