happy new year lads.
anyone no whats going on over corus? iv heard there need a 100 lads for about 6months now.
whens it kicking off again?

manning up this month,ronnie lavender/jimmy alley are the men in charge.
 
Any numbers for that men? or a firms name? Any help would be greatly appreciated. All the best for New Year all members.
 
01642206767,ask for cape,word to the wise,if you do get on the management are pricks,thr foremans a bullyboy(if you let him)and the lads are clicky as **** and would sell their souls for half a shift,good luck lads.
 
Pm the forum member Soulhawk,i believe that he is Mr Ronnie Lavender,he may be able to shed some light when they are manning up..

Thought this was a real scaffolders forum !
 
The woman who answered phone hasn't a clue how this rumour started but says definately not taking on, in fact they've just laid 22 off. Try disguising accent's guys, better luck to everyone else :)

Orite lads, just called got told they laid of 25 men on christmas eve so not taking on
 
Contrary to the information on this thread supplied by 'johnnyb', I can advise that there are no men starting on the Tata / Corus contract in the near future.
22 men were made redundant on Christmas Eve.
I would suggest contacting 'johnnyb' as he is obviously better informed than the site team.

i don't hide behind a alias mr 'soulhawk',most people know who i am,ask some of your lads.i've worked on corus on various projects since 1990 with half a dozen different companys,so i know the difference between a good manager/foreman and a bad one.the foreman in question is the one you sent round a mans house when he was on the sick and bullied him into returning to work.i'm entitled to my opinion the same as the next man,i've obviously struck a nerve mr 'soulhawk'

i love being bullied by foremen, ill have some of that, he s more than welcome to try on or off site? i dont hide behind alias s mr soulhawk?
 
Came from the lads on the job mr 'soulhawk',like i said they'd sell you down the river for a sunday.if you want to meet to sort this out face to face mr'soulhawk' inbox me a time and place and we'll have a chat,or try sending one of your foreman round my house.

If it came from 'the lads on the job' and they are such a bad lot (according to you), why are you talking to them?
Birds of a feather flock together, eh.
Have a chat with someone who want's to listen to you because i've heard it all before and from a lot better scaffolders than you.
