I think they should pay you... afterall, your both getting something out of the trip.
You get a job and they get a good and reliable Scaffolder.

One day these Firms might realise that a working relationship is a 2-way thing... Scaffolders need Firms and Firms need Scaffolders...

Maybe one day eh?

Jason, This is CAPE PLC they are talking about on this thread. CAPE PLC who dont care 2 f**ks about anything except profit. Even in senior management they expect you forget your working class roots and principles and if the men suffer so that turnover and profit can be increased then so be it.
I personally would never consider working for them again and I expect the feeling will be mutual. Despite making massive profits for them I did fall out with the senior management over the way they were treating loyal and hard working employees on the project. This did not go down well with them.
