Can anyone tell me the name of this fitting

good day to you mr reade I worked for bow scaffolding in 80s I was under the impression bow sold up,
I only worked there for a few months but mostly when I was down in the smoke I worked for a company called walter Lawrence do you remember them allan I worked with 2 old hands steve scaite and my boss was Kenny moore do these names ring any bells scc

I did a fair bit of work for Walter Lawrence in my UK years. Don't recall your workmates though.

Bow was originally an old London Firm who sold out to Mitie in the late 90's where the group was expanded. Eventually the contracts arm bought itself out via an MBO and became Bow scaffolding with Mike Bowkett as the Group MD.

There were major financial issues over the Bow period which led to its demise, there was a Phoenix company which came out of the closure (Scaffserve) this never went far as a result of a personal violent attack on the Bowkett family including his wife & children.

The whole thing closed down in 2004 I think and the staff were scattered to the four corners.
