Best way to base out tube and fitting?

To many variables HSWT as every job is different , some use a butt to space , some use a level to space out , some use a brick at the bottom of the standard then plumb from there .

For me its what ever gets the fu cking thing up the quickest so no blocking lifts , double milk crates for a nice high base lift , unless its a leaner of course
 
would the gutter single work with the new shiity plastic guttering.

We would never do that, although a quick rub with a bit of dirt usually hides the newly exposed stone work and makes it look like it has been that way for years.:embarrest:
 
tube and fit it very diffrent to readylock from going form ready lock constantly to tube and fit its like starting over again totally diffrent consept , buts aberdeans , sprags for tube and fit then all you need is a ready lock and off you go , still try and do it the way i would wid readylock sometimes just what am use to lol be right
 
Lay a few base plates down,tell your mate your of for a crap,9 times out of 10 it's based out by the time you get back :)
 
Simple just put two 8s or10s against the wall get two 5s or butts measure a bubble from the end of each five or butt connect to each end of leadger which will pull it of wall at the right distance then connect standards to front of leadger as aom said easy and safe
