Best limited company

cape the worst no argument based on wages department fuckups, followed by capes and a close third capes forth all agencys .

Lyndon's are the best in my opinion

I was under the impression that both the firms above were pretty good.
I heard both were earners, with plenty of nice long jobs to get stuck into.

Best firm: ProPlant from Essex. They worked mainly over Canary Wharf in the Docklands/East London.
Nice work, good pay and plenty of overtime.

Worst firm: Pole Position... Just an awful firm - Crap aint the word...

i would rather never turn a spanner again than work for the people that were in charge of me at lyndons . c*cksuckers that havnt got a clue covering each others arses

True.

I think thats what most firms are like nowdays though, lol.

Who were you working under?

For which firm?

I aint worked for neither Lyndons or Cape, but i heard from some scaffs they were not too bad.

ProPlant, i worked for Joe McLaughlin... Good bloke to work for, he was.

i was a supervisor there and some of them house bashers were on some good money, anywhere from £600 - £1000 for five days with a couple of flyers thrown in.
£3 per metre 1st lift putlog 44m = £132 + £25 = £157 finished by 2
£2.50 2nd and 3rd, one lad on here could do 2 to 3 every day.
£25 loading bay,

and no fukcing step,
It don't sound as if TEESSIDE is cut out for the price work mate.

Working for Cape at the minute mate and they are ok so far.
My first weeks wage was right as well !
They must have somebody new doing the wages.

Nice.
Offshore or Onshore?

I always fancied a crack at some offshore work, had a start sorted with SGB for some barge work off the coast of Mexico, but i got a better offer to stay in London.

Tried getting in touch with Rigblast, Cape (Cape-East i think it was) and Salamis about offshore starts, but they was not taking anyone on then.

yer i use to make good money at colmil but you get sick of house bashing

i rather have a good hourly rate for a fair days work

and if the price right i do price work
