We came back after brew one time and the cones and chains had blown over and as a sap can only move the cones we had to wait nearly 2hrs for him to come stand them back up ha
 
We were due a net pull at night. Sap didnt show, we got a full shift for feck all benjo. Glad an all as it were pisssing down, when the sap turned up night after we gave him a case o carlsberg as a thank you.
 
I've been told by a trusted member that I would not be able to do the CP test as they wouldn't allow me with no experience, Is that correct? I have 50+ pages of revision notes on their way to me next week from a good friend on here to revise for it.
 
Dont know for sure but sounds about right mate, give me till monday and I will find out, , honestly aswell mate I wouldn't do it without experience, dont think either you can do it without having your persons at at least one of the parts of it, thats a guess though .
 
cant see them not letting you do the cp course unless theve changed it.exspecially on the substations may be different on the ohl the competent person and person is for all contractors not just scaffolders so cant see how you cant do it without the experience may be wrong see what joe finds out monday
 
Two mates who are cp reckon you need a minimum of 9 working days as a person on a site to enable you to do your cp course, this is backed up by what the tinternet says , hope that helps mate, they do say though that to check with whoevers giving the course but then did ask why would someone think that they can just walk onto the grid as a cp with no experience. ....dont shoot the messenger ;)
