BESC Substation Scaffolders Required - South Wales

Morning All,

We are currently looking for BESC Persons (Substation) Scaffolders Part 2 or Advanced for a 4 - 6 month Project in South Wales Starting Mid April.

Scaffs will also need the CISRS Layher SSPTS Cert (its a 2 day course waiting for a call back on price for course). we will need 1 x BESC Competent Person on site and 1 x Telehandler.

Hours on site a day: 8 - 12 (waiting on response to find exact hours)

Duration: 4 - 6 Months

We are just waiting to find out if they are weekends on site. as its stands its Monday to Friday

Rate:

Part 2 £17 - £18

Advanced £18 - £20

No Travel or Digs but should be sufficient hours to be worked on site to cover own digs.

CISRS Layher SSPTS Cert - Course costs £250 + VAT from Layher Ltd

We could also accept Layher Certificate rather than having it endoresed on CISRS card.

there good rates in todays climate but think the client could tweek the rate for the competent person mike as he will be takeing all the risks with the live curcuits wether hes advanced or basic. shame a few other agenceys or firms dont follow your rates

no ciara your need your besc eusr card. and sit the national grid atlest minimum person course to get on a national grid substation.also heard the course is changing soon and besc and persons may be joined as one course this year. ccncg or cscs will only let you work on site with these other certificates. your have to get in touch with besc at Energy & Utility Skills Register and there let you no what your need mate.

Alrite mike I'm from barry been scaffolding on the town for cass for 6 years need to chase some money now I fancy going industrial what sort of hours we talking about I don't mind putting them in.
