Don't know if this is of interest to you or not Gary, didn't even realise myself when I ordered it but we have the Hilti with 2 settings. I think 1 is 90 and the other 150, as you say 90 for erecting and 150 for getting them down.
i think its 50lbs, unless your on a hanger and sh1ting youself then its 150 lb:
In accordance with BS EN 74 screw couplers shall be tightened to a torque of 50Nm applied with a torque wrench which may have accuracy of at least +/- 5%

One of the issues with over torquing a fitting is the tendency to straighten the jaws of the gate. There have been a number of fitting failures with gates popping open due to flat jaws.
It's been many years since I had the need to use ft and inches but I recall doing fitting tests with a torque wrench at 50lbs ft.
When I was first in the game I was told a "squeek and a half was enough".
