i v been told not to bother coming in monday and im not getting paid .theres no work so half lads went home this morning the other half off monday . if its still quiet tuesday we keep missing alternate days without pay .possibly better than getting paid off or maybe im just too lazy to ring about and give up a cushy job

they say its gunna get better except you have firms like acorn scaffolding training lithuanians up fetching them over for sod all a hr . 34 laid off from Benchmark northern this week and loads to go at Staythorpe and Radcliffe power station over the coming weeks.

Spot on about Acorn and the like pal.. They recently beat us on a quote for a site of 50 new houses... What does it say when a firm that big can under-cut two blokes with one 7.5 tonner... The nasc should look into s*** like this...
