anybody very good with computers

Steve

Had the same problem myself on vista, dithering and jumping all over I was using a cheap mouse and keyboard, binned it and bought a decent Logitech wireless set-up

Have you made sure the mice you are trying to install are compatable with Vista
(I think they will be if they worked OK to this point)

Go to control panel and uninstall all "input devices" turn off computer (with on/off switch if required) leave off for 20 seconds restart computer Win will install "generic" drivers for your mouse and keyboard ( I have a feeling you will be on generic drivers anyhow),if the problem persist's find your mouse manufacturer's
website and download drivers for your version of Vista

I ran vista for 2 years it is a funny old beast. Upgraded to Win 7 on desktop, after I bought new laptop with it installed last year. You can swap files with ease between computers running Win 7.There is also a lot more self diagnostics installed with it

You may have done all this already,If so treat yourself to a new puter :D

does that say with a podger or with podger
