are some people getting mad pop ups and adverts am constantly getting yan for thai brides our lass is adamant av been looking at thai brides ahahaha what do your adverts say lol
 
with the internet and cookies, these days any websites you look at they place cookies on your system to see what you are searching then promote those products by means of pop up's and ad's etc.
Say for example if you are looking at holidays you might get jet2.com pop up's.
Need to run a spyware remover.

Don't worry Marra!

Google Adsense tries to work out the best possible adverts to show users so there is a good chance of them clicking on them.

They show adverts from sites you may have been on recently, adverts from sites they think users of this site may be interested in and adverts from sites that they think you might be interested in based on things like your age and interests.

You can block these adverts if you want by using things like Ad Block. However, these adverts keep websites free. If everybody starts blocking adverts on the web, then expect sites to either close down or start charging users for access.
 
Got fed up with the pop-up ad's myself marra, not just this site but most others too

I installed the "Firefox" web browser, It has an option to block all pop-up ad's.

Works well in blocking the ad's and it is a faster browser than Win Explorer 10
 
yeah its adverts on all all or most sites do ya still thinkg that spy bot thing will be ort? rigger a got firefox how do you knock it off??
 
pops ups on this forum are driving me crazy I have Norton google crome and still inundated with adverts for hair transplants whoops

google chrome is real bad for pop ups and adverts you cna not knock them off on google its quick but the feking adverts done me head in so switched to fire fox

i keep getting one for new cisrs cards with no training with a carpark as the adress;)

I also get one for fights being advertised at liverpool st station..but no one turns up.

click the red firefox box........... (top of page)

select "Ad-Ons"

Type "Ad Blocker plus" in the search box top of page

select install ..............right hand side of Ad Blocker plus

hope this keeps your missus off your case marra :D
 
I've just hsd an ad pop up for pg tips.....wtf.....do they not know im from yorkshire...yorkshire tea for me, not a fecking monkey dummy an a fat pie eater on my screen...
