70 Year Old Scaffolder Accident

Well I hope he makes a full recovery and we are all fit enough to turn the spanner when we're 70.
 
If This Govt Have There Way Gents We Will All Still Be Working At Seventy Five Or Eighty, Can Any One On This Forum Honestly Say They Will Be Capable Of Doing Our Job At That Age, Im Fifty And Feel It What The Feck Will I Be Like At Seventy.Its All Very Well Some Civil Servant Or Politician Who Has Never Did A Days Physical Work In There Life Saying This But At That Age Your Body Is Knackered.Mind You Ill Be Lucky To See Seventy.
 
Come on aom you can't have watched day time telly for a while. Jeremy Kyle is the one to watch. Tricia is old news mate 😃

Me too and plan my retirement with that in mind. No way your average man will be able to do this at that age, there will as always be exceptions but on the whole you will be doing exceptionally well to do this at 60 and even then you will need a good bunch of young guns round about you.

haha, can you remember the excitement when we finally got breakfast TV?

It doesn't seem that long ago we could only get BBC Ulster and had to drive around 5 miles to a friends house to watch the football.:eek:
 
I Dont Think I Ever Watched Breakfast Tv, Same As The News Mate, Never Watched The BBC News Since The Miners Strike, Watch Channel Four News Less Biased Than The Beeb.
 
Sky news was the worst, never watched that since I came off the rigs, think I have been scarred for life with that one.
