My take home for 5 12's & 2 10's £1200

If i do 42.5 @ 16, then 17hrs @ 24 i get 1088 before tax. With my deductions and fecking csa im bribging home about 680-710 a week.
They dont expect too much mate, we dont get many job and knocks.

Not to shabby for on your door step is it.

What do you consider not to much whats an example of what they would expect in a day

Lets put it this way, i erected 8 rolls of debris netting all day, between two of us.

£16.50 for 50hrs
£22.50 after 50
£210 for a 12hr mon to fri
£225 for a 10 sat & sun

On your hours jon with my rates i would pick up before tax £1135.

Theres not much difference in the wages then jon from london to the midlands.

It wasn't till i came on here mate, that wages in london arn't as good as i once thought or is it just due to the credit crunch that the wages took a nose dive.

Picking back up now though

The average week is less than 40 hours work. You aren't even getting a break like the North Sea tigers

No mate, no digs or travel, I'm only 6 mile from the job, £35 a week for a travel card on the underground, so not bad
