Certainly could be worse wilf that will put xmas dinner on the table and a few more prezzies for the kids, I was out of work 2 weeks before xmas last year so I know jobs like this would be a lifesaver for some good luck boys
 
That's nothing,all through my 20s n early 30s in my drinking days I had nothing through the year never mind christmas.

Yes, Tony is running the job, 40-50 hours is 40 atm. 8 hours no weekend as yet, longer term hours may improve. I'll give it another week
 
To be fair, forefront have always been great with me. They did say that it was 45 hrs, but the hours would kick in a couple of weeks. which to me, is totally different from some agencies saying "yeah, 6 months work mate2 and you get there and it's 2 days. wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Forefront and Goldmills.

2. 28 days hol a year paid.
3. Time and a half overtime rate
4. Company van with fuel card.
5. I work 7 days a week almost every week.
6. I dont have to pay some fecker to pay me....

thou some agencies may get a bad name!!! ash employment services neted me £1,800 a week for a 7 day 10 hr shift and atr neted me £550 for a 38 hr week never worked for forefront but just cos there a agencie some may need a break cos some of these paye firms rip the arse out of there men on paye
 
If you stay and get on with it they look as you as an easy number.All agencies are doing it now.Forefront are the only agency I know that are decent,but evem now they are lying to scaffs just to get them on site.Everyone says agency work is a **** take.Everyone blames agencie,s and as agency you are treated like ****..I,ve said it before.If scaffolding firms took people on the books at a adecent wage then there would be no need for agency workers,or the" finance companies" that cream you every week to put wages in the bank.Where are the Unions that are supposed to take care of our interests?What is Goverment doing about it?Most of all,why are companies not employing the scaffs that have done work over the years but handing us back to agencies?I can think of one thing.Everyone who,s employed now has the right to put into a pension.Unfortunately the company has to equal that.I,m not sure if a company needs to employ 20 or 100 scaffs they will want to do it.

What sort of rates they pay?

Do they pay digs ?
 
Im on 16 an hour pal, 24 an hour at weekends or anything over 42.5 hrs. Unfortunatley mate we dont provide digs , all our work is within the midlands / hereford and worcester. And the odd job in london.

Do they expect much?

What do you pick up for 7 days?

Any job and knocks?
 
If i do 42.5 @ 16, then 17hrs @ 24 i get 1088 before tax. With my deductions and fecking csa im bribging home about 680-710 a week.
They dont expect too much mate, we dont get many job and knocks.
