as for the photo whose to say its not a pisstake as for hemps before handrails of course that makes sense but sg4,10 dictates the handrail which does make topping out a right pain in the arse
 
The game's full of puffs. C@nts that spend more time on their spray tan than learning how to throw a job up. I'm personally fed up with dealing with these gobsh1tes on a day to day basis. Clueless @rseholes that think they've got the God given right to command a certain wage because they've got 'guns'. My brother in law goes to the gym, got bigger biceps than me, dare I say. I'll still punch his c@nt in. And he knows it.

Having said that pete I've seen one young lad ask the foreman if he could go early to get his haircut!!!!! Couldn't believe it the foremans face he didn't know what to say
 
The worse ones are those who are continuously poncing about with their mobiles whilst there are others who are grafting. That gets up my nose more than any other annoying habit these young monkeys have.:evil:

Worst one I saw john was years ago 8 of us in a chain all cuplock and one of the blokes trough a tantrum because he wanted a drink 15 mins we had to wait for him ****
 
Not just verbal john in stead of ******* up the chain the charge hand waited till hometime then wallop clever fella he was
 
The crowning one in my career was back in the 70's when my uncle didnt want to work because the weather was too nice. All we had to do was to level in a fourth lift around a mill chimney and that was it for the day.
I asked what we should say to the gaffer later and my uncle told me to say to him that we were 'sunned off'!
I carried the can for that lazy old git.:(

I am very proud to be a scaffolder mate ,

I started when I was 15 and 35 years later still can hold my own with the best
As for no one wanted to be a scaffolder your wrong it's all I have ever wanted to be ,
My dad who is 70 is still involved , my brothers , my son, and my nephews are all in the game ,
My wife knows more about scaffolding then most of these pretentious little retards coming into the game these days ,
Why is being proud of what you are cringe worthy ?

I think maybe you went scaffolding because you had no choice and don't share the love some of us have for it ,
Maybe you set your sights to high and feel like you have under achieved
I was speaking to a fella last weekend who was getting depressed because he was 50 and feeling old ,
I said to him iam 50 and feel on top of the world because I never thought I would live this long ,
That's life mate live it and enjoy what you have , not what you might have had ;)

Yeah that is fair doos mate. I can see why you wanted to do it if your family done it. But the I have personally never heard anyone say that it was their first career choice.

Yeah due to circumstances I had to change career path but in regards to scaffolding I treat it like anything I do. I take pride in doing a good job.

Again, I was only saying in my opinion being a scaff is nothing to brag about and bragging to impress people makes people sound like *****. But there is nothing wrong with taking pride in your work.
 
The thing is though, for everyone of us that do take a great deal of pride in the calibre and quality of our work, there's another ten mongs doing the trade a grave disservice. Weed out the passengers and we might be on to something.

I know him well he works hard and plays harder, he owns his own firm yet the most down to earth bloke I know in the game for his standing he actually does put other ppl first then himself, I'm not up his arse but I give credit where it's due so just my 2 cents worth mate
