I would say £13-15 an hour advanced, im on £16 now.
 
Paid more than advanced!!!! Didn't know u had a female boss lol

All it is den I've been lucky to work along side some top scaffolders but always older more experienced blokes or blokes that's worked together for years ie in a gang of 3 obviously I'm gettting the gear........ Rightly so but doesn't help me out that's the one good thing about getting older I suppose the new breed come thru and I can't terrorise the basterds lolololololol
 
See they should be giving you a go mate, thats what i do. Sometimes yoy've got to stand to one side and let the new guys have a go, other wise in years to come the industry is gonna be full of lads thsts either slow or havn't got a fecking clue what to do.

Phil I completley forgot about that chat we had must of been the booze and barmaids that made me forget lol

Tell ya what I can work this saturday if u like phil ill get to the yard for 7 have a bit of breakie do a nice job and knock ie strike some brickguards for ya just in time to meet den how's that?????

Na think ur right about getting me in shape ill look like a cage fighter when uve got thru with me lol yes we shall certainly talk again on that subject ill have the best part of a weeks £££ on sat that will convince yer ;)
 
Boys when I was late 17 I was fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan. At least the boys safe and well and is home every night. I didn't get. Trade. He is, what else would he do? Carry bricks for a waster bricky. Get in there at 16 with a oner in ur pocket every week and learning and getting quald. Things could be worse. Could be shutting crack like the rest of the guinea pig scum. Or worse yet could be a Muslim and never work a day in ur life

You fcuking insane,I was getting 35 quid a day cash in a brown envelope in late 80s as a 16 yr old on lower regent street for Anglewest
 
lived and worked in London all my life until 2 years ago when I moved down to the new forest in Hampshire. currently working dorset/Hampshire trying to show them how to base out with a level and a tape !!!!! I don't think health and safety has come this far south yet.
 
not any more , made my money and left London to the lefties and the Taliban........
