If you are looking for work don't you just ring the number, sort out wages and benefits and get a start?
Any amusing, facetious or silly comments shouldn't really bother anyone.

Of course if you are any good people will be calling and e-mailing you.

Correct, but some reason it does bother some lads. Banter. It's what makes a 12hr night shift on a coal fire power station boiler outage go a little faster.

Just so you know mate, SE1 is southwark, that is not near the centre on London, Trafalgar is the centre, piccidilly is the centre, southwark is not.
Just so you know.

Actually the term "Central London" covers an area from Whitechapel in the East, Elephant and Castle in the South, Kensington Gardens in the West and Camden Town in the North. Draw a circle round these points and there you have it. You will find Southwark is inside the area.
Of course we can't expect northerners to know that.

Couldn't care less whether you know my mother, my father, my wife, my brother to be honest. Well done for knowing who I am by the way. Hardly a trade secret pal.

There is a little plaque on the floor at Trafalgar Square, every road sign in the country that says London is measured to that plaque, that is considered the centre of London, so no southwark is not in the centre, the one at charting cross station was put there when the station opened as a gimmick to advertise the new station, so that one is not real.

If you want work then Phil could actually employ you in London prat12

Has Phil started working for RHL then?

You are getting confused between "centre" and "central" MM.
The place you are describing which is actually south of TS is the statue of King Charles 1st. This is the marking used for mileage as it is considered the geographical centre of London.
Central London covers a wide area which includes Southwark.

Ow prat for life. I mean prat 12. Don't get me involved in ur childish arguments n send me ur stupid emails. **** 4 brains.

Getting tasty on this thread, this needs settling like old school Scaffs settled things.. Have some harsh words maybe some finger wagging, chuck your hard hats on the floor. Then calm down slag each other off to other people, then slag each other off more on the bog walls, then one of you gets a black eye at the Xmas doo.:D
