Hi there guys...how are you all? Recently starting using the site and have a job offer coming at the end of the week from RTP Consulting. I know its working as an industrial scaffolder across holland and belgium but was wondering if anyone has had any work with RTP and if they could tell me of any problems they may have had with them.

I spoke to this company a while ago and while they sounded resonably legitamate, I did question the fact that they did not advertise a landline and just a mobile. It also struck me as strange that they wanted passport details staight away and that they mentioned a dutch safety card would be required which would cost 300 Euros.

Unfortunately you can't trust any1 these days, I think it's a gamble to say the least. But then, some of the best jobs I've been on have come off the back of a gamble.

Worked over there 11 ys;but never heard of RTP.The safety card theyre on about is called a PBNA,but 300 euros sounds a bit steep. Let me know how ya get on mate,good luck.

RTP are based in the UK and claim to provide personnel across the globe to all industries. Its a VCA they require similar to our H&S construction skills test. Do you have any contacts that you care to share with me in Holland?

The VCA is the basic Dutch H&S certificate. The UK touchscreen test was based on this. It is mandatory for work in the Dutch Industrial Sector.
If I remember correctly the VCA course was a 4 day course with examination on the last day. Then a 2 week wait for the results. 300 Euro is probably about right.

400+ euros net pay for 40 hours....thats more than 10 euro an hour isnt it?
That wont include digs either I should think
