Hi all,
I am looking for a scaffolder in Wolverhampton, I work for a solar company and have to put a scaffold up. I have mailed about 8 in Wolverhampton and only had one response and they were expensive.

Probably because alot of companys have been ripped off in the past.
 
Not nice to hear Donna but solar companies have to pay a premium for being without a shadow of a doubt, the worst payers of scaffold contractors since records began.
 
Speak as thy find we have done work for over a dozen solar companies and not had a problem with any of them, all paid on time and some even by return.


Mind you after reading this post might have to eat my words, doing some for a new one this month:unsure:
 
No fair play Spannerman, if that's your experience good on you. It's certainly not mine but glad some of them can pay there bills.
 
Just tell them if they dont pay you will rip the panels off the roof:D

Thats a shame because I have a great network of scaffolders all over the uk on various jobs that we have done and have given them repeat work and all have been happy with us.
I just cant seem to find one in the Wolverhampton/Birmingham area
 
She is probably just a bit busy at the moment.

More like they wont make ENOUGH money out of them oldscaff.
They send out eight tenders, got only one reply, they say they have scaffs all over the country, then wont post their name on the the forum. Then post on the forum, as clearly they cant get scaffs out of the job centres by the sound of it.

Pardon me for being a wee bit suspicious.:nuts::nuts:
 
I dont really want to put my company name on a forum website, but I am genuine.
I was hoping to get serious replys, but never mind.
