An opportunity has arisen for a Training and Competency Officer based at our Aberdeen office to deliver training of scaffolding and working at height related courses. The scope of training provision may change to meet the business needs. The Training & Competency Officer will play an integral part of the department, delivering and enhancing the training experience for offshore personnel.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified scaffolder and some offshore experience would be desirable although not essential. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, well organised and have a thorough knowledge of scaffolding best practice.
The job may require some offshore work and hence, the successful candidate should either hold or be capable of obtaining an OGUK medical, BOSIET/FOET offshore certificate and MIST.
