An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Training and Competency Officers within Cape’s Offshore Division to deliver training, assessment and compliance checks across the business.
Based from our Aberdeen offices and working in partnership with a team of qualified regional/site trainers and approved sub-contractors, the successful candidate will deliver training ensuring a competent workforce and enabling Cape to deliver its commitment of being a safe, reliable and intelligent provider of industrial services. You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of either Painting/Blasting or Thermal Insulation with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels as you will provide training to a wide variety of employees. Experience of delivering supervision and management training is desirable, ideally within the Oil and Gas Industry. You be required to have excellent IT/organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload whilst working to deadlines, paying considerable attention to detail ensuring consistently high level of accuracy and quality in work undertaken.
The job will require occasional offshore work therefore you will hold or have the ability to obtain an OGUK medical, BOSIET/FOET offshore certificate and MIST. Ideally you will be IOSH qualified and must hold a full UK drivers licence.
