The Role


Key responsibilities will include supervising, organizing, coordinating and controlling all of the courses and training activities within the product ensuring maximum utilization of staff and resources. You will be required to ensure the maintenance of the college/department is upheld and kept within the agreed budget, as well as ensuring course material, plant equipment, and training space in available, safe, and suitable to achieve objectives of the course. Appointment to this position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure Check from the Criminal Records Bureau.

About You


Educated to at least a GCSE level (or equivalent) you should hold an NVQ Assessor Award (D32/33), an SMSTS Certificate and/or NVQ Level 3 in a professional and/or technical qualification. You will be able to provide proven experience and exposure to a construction trade background, preferably an Advanced Scaffolder but you must have supervisory experience. You will have good communication skills - both oral and written - and be comfortable with your knowledge of the construction industry as a whole. You will also be able to prioritise your workload and have good organisational and inter-personal skills. Experience of facilities management would also be desirable but not essential. Please note that this role involves some travel within London and the UK.
