i've worked for agencies for 4 years and last october new laws came in where cis workers were entilted to the same rights as PAYE workers. so the agency pays me through a umbrella company to avoid holiday pay. i pay £23 a week admin fee.
Hang on a minute. I signed up to Bettertax simply for the reason that I have forked out a small fortune this year on the trade and expect a decent rebate this year.I was willing to pay the 30 per cent rate, but whats this about 36 pc? If the inland want me to pay tax I have already paid into the government coffers then forget it.Our fee is 30% but unfortunately the government charge VAT also. Nothing we can do about that.
