Description
Our client in New Zealand requires a number of Scaffolders for the ongoing demolition and construction work in Christchurch city. These positions will involve the installation of scaffolding to be used in the dismantle of damaged properties, also supply and installation of scaffolding for renovation work and fresh construction work within the city.

Skills Requirements
This is earthquake damage related work so previous experience is essential and scaffolders must be qualified, supply all certification and provide two references. All applicants will on arrival undergo assessment challenges as set by the New Zealand National scaffolding Association. This involves building a cantilevered platform and building a hanging platform.

Salary: €60,000pa NZ Dollars - €100,000pa NZ Dollar
Other Benefits:
Salaries mentioned above are in NZ Dollar based on 55 hr week. Hourly rates will vary from $20 to $35 per hour depending on level of experience and ability to manage projects and large numbers of staff. Bonus payments are not included in the above rates and may further incresae the take home pay.

Yh that's what I thought 30 grand for a 55 hr week is crap al stick to the rigs but good luck to the lads who give it ago hope it works for you.
 
this 1 was doing the rounds before december i think could be the usual bull kidding on they have got work when they have feck all
 
FAS IRELAND ,is a Irish Goverment group not unlike the CITB but less strict,jobs advertised on there web site are directed at the Irish labour market as the construction industry is on there knees, i no a few Irish guys who have gone over there and although not ideal but still a lot better than the prospect of having no work back home, as the saying goes needs must
 
its 30,000 for 60,000 nzd but for 100,000 nzd and doing 55hrs a week that can be 50,000pounds pa,take it or leave it
 
I got a ryply this morning from robin this morning saying he would contacted me futher if the client is happy with my c.v and has put it forwards to similar opportunities .
 
The 100000 will be for supervision not the boys on the spanners a would think .
