SCAFFOLDING FOREMAN RAIL YORK
Salary: Very competitive + Car Allowance
Location: York however travel will be expected nationwide.
Role Summary:
To ensure that safety is maintained as a No. 1 priority, the role of Scaffolding Foreman/Inspector is to assist our Site Agents and General Foremen to ensure that scaffolding is erected/dismantled/inspected correctly in accordance with current legislation. The role will require hands on inspections to be carried out, as well as assisting with the training and development of the Agents and Foremen. Attendance at meetings with scaffolding suppliers will be required as directed by the management team. Other General Foreman duties may also have to be carried out at times where there is no full time requirement for scaffolding inspections.

Example of Responsibilities:
-Maintain a motivated project/site team, which will include suppliers and sub-contractors
-Support the General Foreman and Agent in managing the scaffolding erection/dismantlement/inspection process in accordance with current legislation
-Ensure that safety as the number one priority is communicated and understood at all levels throughout the organisation both in the office and on site
Essential Skills
-Advanced scaffolder or equivalent competence
-Experience of construction trades in railway civil engineering
-Able to organise and utilise resources efficiently
-Able to manage and motivate teams
-Minimum of CITB 5 day Health & Safety course plus hold CSCS site supervisor or better.
-Full Driving license
-PTS
