4 weeks training course leading to job opportunities for the unemployed (aged 18+)

The Department for Employment and Learning in conjunction with Copius Resources NI Ltd has developed a training programme to meet the needs of the company.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

◦have 5 years scaffolding experience◦have harness experience◦have tube & fitting experience◦have interpretative drawing experience◦be fit and willing to work at heights In the event that short listing is required, a Trade test may be used to select applicants for interview.

Potential Salary £16.50 per hour

Job Duties:

Candidates will work offshore in British waters or other European locations. Training will take place in CITB, Nutts Corner, Arch Consulting, Enniskillen and Falcarragh, Co Donegal.
If successfully employed work time will vary depending on each individual contract but generally the work schedule will be 168 hours per fortnight based on 2 weeks on ¿ 2 weeks off.
Qualifications / Experience:

Applicants must be 18+ and unemployed and have -
At least 5 years' scaffolding experience;
Harness experience;
Tube & fitting experience;
Interpretative drawings experience;
Be fit and willing to work at heights.

Other Information:

2 weeks training at CITB, Nutts Corner, 1 week at Arch Consulting, Enniskillen followed by 1 week at Effective Offshore, Falcarragh, Co Donegal. If the training is successfully completed, clients will be interviewed by Copius Resources NI Ltd.

it suggests their gonna put the candidate through scaff training followed by 1 week at Arch consulting ? then an offshore course,,,, hmm, good chance for someone

And there's me who's worked hard payed for all his own Certs from trainee to advanced and supervisor plus mist, bosiet ( Dutch), medical and can't get offshore. Silly old me. Seems like the old rock n roll is the way forward.
 
The job is à bag of nails through an agency for cape Holland.Shows how bad it is when they are advertising through the jobcentre.Stay well clear of this one lads.
