Description

We are a scaffold contractor running 5 gangs looking for an experienced Part 2 or advanced Scaffolder.

Must be experienced and hold CISRS card and be qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent.

Duties are to erect and dismantle scaffolding as required, plus other associated tasks.

Please call James on 020 8269 6390

Wage - £15.50 per hour
40 per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

how comes your rate has gone done from

£20 a hour (£160 a day) to
£15.50 a hour (£124 a day)

good luck getting scaffolders for that, if you was paying me £125 a day and im advanced i would have 2 breaks at a hour each and leave site before 3pm.

£20 an hour is high spec work in the city and went to the highly experienced blokes we needed.

The £15.50 is for joining a team that carries out social housing roofing and refurbs.

2 completely different standards of scaffolder and work load.

So what you saying you gona employ low standard scaffolders at a cheaper rate. Do the roofers not deserve to work on high quality scaffold.

OK, fair enough, my bad use of the word Standard try replacing with appropriate experience and capability.

In my experience we have had plenty of "Advance" scaffolders that ain't worth a toss.

From MY experience, i have worked for plenty of 'quality and professional' Scaffolding firms, who couldn't run a bath...

Wrong gear being delivered to site, wages wrong week in-week out, wrong site addresses, Supervisors not knowing what job your on and where you have been working...

So if what your saying is correct and you truly stand by your beliefs:
IF your firm is shiit, does that mean i can work for you £200 a day, as ill have to do MORE then the 'average Scaffolder', ie: Checking up on your Supervisors, ringing the yard to order my own gear, checking with payroll to see if my own wages went through? - Stuff like that?
