We need a group of skilful self-employed tradesmen to join our team for our forthcoming project.You need to have proven experience in the relevant job. I appreciate that a job is a job these days but there seems to be more and more brickwork companies doing their own scaffolding.

I always get the feeling that they are looking for a scapegoat to point the finger at when the sh1t hits the fan on site. I can't imagine many brickwork companies can offer much in the way of back-up, training, good quality gear.

Maybe it's just me being cynical
 
Dass the biggest problem on site are between us and them mate so if there doing there own scaffold ie scaffold dept they can fuuck us about and get the lads jumping on hot tin roofs.
if the contract is set up the old way ie scaff company and a brick company 9-10 the scaff superv will fuuck the brickies off and charge them for extra's if you know what i mean
 
Never work for a Brickwork Firm that has its own Scaffolders... we'll always be 2nd class citizens to them... and their aint a Bricklayer whos ever lived who can even tie the worst Scaffolders boots up. :)

Bricklayers = W@nk, lol.
 
this will be short lived unless you get a true scaffolder to run the show. Especially with all the design, organising and health and safety nowadays.
