Scaffold Board Retainer

There's a long tread on this already, don't use it but it does look good

I dunno... im more partial to this:

A 'board retainer clip' or as i like to call it a: Egyptian.
Handy if your in a spot and need to tie the boards down.
 
We use limpets, easy to fix from above the deck, got to be carefull stripping as when you shift the board they can drop off.

The BRC (pictured in Jasons post) is the unit of choice in the UAE and seem to do the job well. They move in the 100,000's out her.

I had a quick look at the safelinx product but given my stock of BRC's and the cost of the safelinx I would be hard pressed to move.

I have a couple of the safelinx units hanging in direct sunlight in my yard, been there for a month or two they are holding up well considering its gets up to 40-50 deg's here.

Agree mate very handy fitting. Always try to keep a few with me.
 
They are useful but we have been using the retainers for over a year now and they work a treat at half the price and time. I wouldn't change back now especially when the wind blows up here so often.
