Scaffold Banners

We have recently had one of our apprentices come back from his two week training & he was told that all scaffolds have to have scaffold banners attached to them. Just wondered if anyone had heard this before?

We have a couple of clients who only want their boards on.

It's a requirement if its a street job for identification/vehicle strikes.

Don't know its a legal requirement.

Had this told to me a couple of years ago just after Christmas; ie if theres a scaffold strike, or a fault you'd need to contact the Scaffold contractor directly.

At the moment I only have it in writing in regards street licences where you have to have the scaffolders & contractors signs on.
