Croydon, Depends on your level of training, I personally dont know how much you will be paid ive just been asked by my employer to be on the look for scaffolders with proof to help us get this contract.
 
so r u just taking names and numbers then ,coz your post said u wanted people 4 2morra and qualified scaffs 2 help u get the contract ? im interested mate but need 2 know about wages , im a part 2 with 12 years exp ?
 
yeah im just taking down name and numbers for my employer and then we will contact people tomorrow, like i said im sorry i personally couldnt tell you wages but if you leave me a name and number you will find out tomorrow.

you will find it a bit of a struggle getting men on here to down tools at where they are working to join your organisation when you cant even tell them what they will be earning, most lads want to know

how much a day
any digs included
are you paying travel/expenses
whats the overtime rate
whats the daily hours
 
contract requires trained scaffolders ????????????????

See... people slag off Agencies, but atleast you get all the details out of them, when they advertise.

If you want some kind of interest from the Scaffolders here, you do need to play the game.

You want them to give you honest answers to your questions about tickets and stuff, you need to give them honest details back mate.

  • Day rate or price?
  • Hours a day?
  • Weekends?
  • Digs and Travel? - Is it paid?
  • Overtime?
  • Length of contract?

Can i ask:
  • How much for a Part 2 Scaffolder with 8 years experience, with an indate CISRS ticket?
 
Am I being really naive about what goes on in these scaffolding companies. This is a MEDIUM sized scaffolding company without any carded scaffolders. Surely a client must ask to see them at some time.

I've worked for the same company for the last 9 years, but they still do a check on cards every couple of months.
