Hi lads I've booked myself in for a Working at Height health and safety test on 20th June.
The book came today for revision.
What sections do I need to know, is it General Responsibilities and Working at Heights ?
Or are there other sections I have to know ?

Cheers

If it's the Health & Safety touch screen test your doing m8 pretty sure the green sections are all you need to know !

If yer been scaffolding for tens years its easy

40 questions

its a b c or d

took me 10 minutes to pass

Working at Height health and safety test is different to the usual touch screen health and safety test , its mainly for people who work at height not exactly scaffolders more for people who work on scaffolding, or ladders or towers etc etc think its about £70-00

I know the info in the book. just wanted to make sure if it.
The woman at training centre in Blackburn said it's working at height test I needed. Is that not right ?
Obviously I havn't done the test before

are you a scaffolder? do you have a cisrs scaffolding card? its not clear what you are asking? ;)

No they dont do the test at training 2000. I booked at CSkills website to do test near where I live

40 questions on health & safety, then an additional 10 questions on working at heights, you got to get 8 out of the 10 correct to pass, mainly ladder angles, edge protection, you have to show them your passport or some ID with a photo. The test is £17.50, then send your pass slip off to the CISRS then they will also relieve you of £26.50

I used the cd rom for revision for my supervisors test and my son had a go at the basic test he passed 36/40 he was 9 at the time !!

I just did this the other week along with one of the young team who has next to know experience and we both passed no bother but it's like everything else, it's only easy if you know the answers. 20 odd years site experience with a different site induction almost weekly should mean you don't even need to read the book but one boy in particular failed it 9 times. It wasn't like he didn't know the answers as every time I read out the questions he got them right but stick him in front of that screen and he would crumple like a cheap suit. Some people just need to work on different areas to get where they want to be.

I've worked in powerstations and am confident I know what I should know. There were two or three questions that I wasn't sure of though.
I dont want to be complacent though so got the book so I could revise because I don't want to fail it.
So it's definitely the Operatives test then lads ?
