Does anybody have any numbers of companys prefferably around Glasgow looking to take on part 1s even wurking away would b considered cheers !!
 
sgb ???????? you mean harsco now best of look mate you are joining 5 million other part 1s trying to find work thanks to the bloody dole center.......
 
My advice get ur part 2 done ASAP more companies looking for part 2 than part 1
 
So no numbers then just jump about way liitle faith gonty the dole haha ano murder wiz wurkin in the shetlands ther wizny really wurkin oot tho so bak lookin n rather skint so part 2s oot the window till a get a job !!
 
You try shs up your way hertel havnt no numbers but look them up on the net you'll soon get numbers its hard atm not many jobs in scaffolding I'm looking at other things now moneys ***** in scaffolding now most jobs are me I if I was you look at things wot are up and coming in the consuction game that's a start I've found somthing and in the process of training for it and in a year or so be laffin think about it kidda personly I thinking scaffolding if fcuked now such is sad as I love this trade but you got to think outside the box now best of luck hope you find somthing quick as it bad time of year to be out of work
 
Yep there's money out there and its not scaffolding no more ie think outside of scaffolding ie box teeside and look at other trades up and coming simple......
 
Tessco, aldi, asda,

nice and warm and clean jobs

and as much overtime you want.

I know a good few good scaffs that now work for theses.
 
Don't blame them at leased they no there not gonna be layed off at Christmas
Of frost bite LOL might try it myself sick of scratting about and chasing every penny I can

Im Kinda Getting Like That As Well Midge, Fed Up With The Job Getting Harder And The Money Getting Less, Some Health And Safety Facist Telling Me To Wear Safety Specs But Refusing To Put A Handrail Round An Excavation,Because It Would Cost To Much Or Refusing To Install Lighting In A Pitch Black Stairwell, When I Cant See My Hand In Front Of My Face.
 
I agree Midge, I only started scaffolding 3years ago and its been one big struggle haha, it started off well with a 13month run all the hours and now the best I get locally is 2days here and 3days there and the best of it is its been inside boilers striking putlog with 3days turning out to be 2days because the agency was telling porky's! Hear the offshore life is the one to aim for now Midge as a scaffolder
