Hello lads i had a call from salamis on thurs and 1 off cape on friday to work xmas cover, i told them to ram it but if theres anyone willing to do it id ring them up first thing mon morning

Rang them this morning no luck have you any better numbers or names than the usual you no what there like in the offices thanks pm them if you have.
 
just the usual im afraid, i no a few lads who got called up. keep phoning everyday theres always a chance someones "had a death in the family" around xmas time! (thats the trick some lads pull for an xmas piss up) if youve got all your tickets, survival, mist etc youll get off!

Heard the turkeys not 2 bad out there lol salamis phoned me back earlier but missed the call, office must have shut wen a tried ringin back. Can only be good news. Gonna phone 1st thing 2moro. Nice shout wizzing bet this has helped out a few lads in a similar position cheers.

people who go out at christmas can find themselves not doing much , went on 21st dec once and was told straight away , not needed until 28th , week of dvd's gambling and the gym

another time there was 2 weeks laying cable with a portugese electrician.
 
i'm out here now & not due home until the 28th dec, the spread for christmas dinner is quite decent lobster to start then turkey with all the trimmings followed by christmas pud then washed down with a couple of bottles of alcahol free becks, we even get the day off, rather be at home getting fat though.
 
Yeah lads cheers for the advice. Jus for for the record my second name ain't Scrooge lol i got a missus an young family so needs must. the work in Scotland last 6 weeks has been proper s.h.i.t unless you like bashin yellow jelly for agencies which isn't my idea of fun. Seems like a good way 2 get a foot in the door and will quite happily watch DVDs an hit the gym for OCA rates :nuts:
