Seamans book was what the merchant sailors hold,not something relevant to rigwork:unsure:
 
This will be for locals to go offshore in Brunei, the seaman book is what they use rather than a computerised bosiet. The trips are usually 4 months on 2 weeks off over a two year contract. There are no Brits out there anymore.

it is not unusual for scaffs to own a seamans book, it is required for barge work and boats ,but I would not be forwarding any details to any one you are not sure of
