who pay better for offshore work, rgb or cape?

It all depends what oil company they are contracting to . Shell and BP are usually the best for uplifts and perks . North American companies are usually the worst (CNR , Talisman , Apache , Nexen ) to name but a few .

Think I might have landed offshore work they're gonna phone me Friday with the rate. Am I right in thinking it should be £17.50 an hour or what rate should I accept. Thanks

The rate is £17.32 phr but uplifts. shuttle. inconveniance money all add up plus £21.50 a day field break for every day you do offshore
