Experienced scaffolder seeking a new challenge?
Dear Stephen,
Acrow is the largest scaffolding, formwork, falsework and event infrastructure company in New Zealand and they are currently seeking qualified and experienced Scaffolders to join their teams in Christchurch.
These permanent roles are based in Christchurch - located in the picturesque Canterbury region, with the Canterbury Plains to one side and the Southern Alps as the backdrop. There is currently great demand for skilled workers in this region as they work to rebuild the thriving main centre of New Zealand's South Island.
Do you:
Currently hold formally recognised skills and proven proficiency as a Scaffolder
1+ years experience as a qualified scaffolder (Hold ticket and Certificate of Competence or can get one)
Have ability to read Site drawings
Have ability to calculate equipment numbers accurately
Have ability to build strong work relationships and contribute to a positive work environment.
The successful candidate will:
be required to work on a variety of Sites in Canterbury area-- work at height, in all environmental conditions
need to be able to lift and carry equipment to workplace
promote and sets standards for H&S on the job in compliance with Company /Legislative requirements
be able to effectively supervise a team of up to 10
be able to pass a drug test.
