Money in London

Depends on your ticket and experience.
Per day...? Possibly?

Day rate? Part 2? - maybe £130ish a day (8am to 4pm)
Pricework? name it? - maybe £200ish (depending if you get a straight, low and easy to access job)
LUL & PTS work? - maybe £150-£300 a shift depending on hours/location.

Really depends on your qualifications, who you know, experience and how desperate they are for Scaffolders.

What type of tickets you have/work are you looking for?

And to be honest was just thinking about coming up there but just not sure if it is going to be much better after I pay out for diggs and stuff!

I ask for £150 a day, when i ring about, but atm most Firms wanna barter you down to £140's for an 8 hour day.
But it depends on what Firm... Mattisons would probably start you on £150 - but they want their pound of flesh for that and the hours put in, where someone like say BCM might offer you £130's and you wont kill yourself and might get an earlier finish.

Id ask for between £140-£150 for an Advanced Card in London, anything less and they are taking the piss a bit, if you ask me.
 
its like all these jobs they sound good untill the taxman takes hes slice think £500 seems the average lift these days for a 40hr week and the weekends just paye that horrible tax man ive personally seen the 40hr week drop by £50 a week and the weekend drop by atleast a £100 in the last 2 years so sometimes its best to stay were you are unless the travel and exspences get payed by the employer
 
I work in the dockyard for Pyeroy at the mo, I'm running my own boat so I get 124 a day for 8 hrs get to work 7 days if I want it! So not sure if I want to work away again???

ahh under kev daymond ??? i did 3years in the dock mate for key scaffoldin they got brought out by denholm kev was my boss then i know his brothers well... sounds a decent wage mate added bonus wiv the wkend work... is it still busy in the dockard ??
 
Yeah on ocean at the mo it's going in for refit. I used to work for denholm was a good crack on there!
