LOGISTICS MANAGER
Head Office
This is a new role based at our Head Office in Wakefield. Reporting to the Managing Director the
prime areas of responsibility are:
• Asset management – stock movement and control
• Purchasing/Procurement
• Transport
• Property
In order to reduce costs in the above sectors, the ability to introduce an effective centralised
distribution system is a prerequisite. Considerable experience in addressing current expenditure
within supply chain, inter-branch stock transfers, inventory, property and transportation is also
essential.
Candidates will have at least 7 years experience in a logistic, operational and technical role ideally
gained from the construction supply sector. Excellent negotiation skills and a can do attitude are
essential.
