apparently kingsnorth powerstation supposed to be comeing down next year as well so there should be a good number of jobs there as well there was loads when it was being built and maintance so comeing down there should be plenty of scaffold works were see

dico sorry to say it but i cant see it being the next gold rush,as with hunterston A it only carries a small crew as even with these destructs they are all still on Budgets which are all cut to feck.there is no hurry to take them down as the land will be contaminated for fecking years so no new development.
there could be a good wee run of work for a select few.
all round its got to pick up but we have been saying that since 2008 now:mad:

lot of these projects have killed the scaffolding wanted due to ipafs and cherry pickers but like you say sellect few will be okay most scaffolding jobs arnte permenent now they seem to want labour as and when needed rather than the long term worker probably cheaper when it comes to lay offs

keep your ipafs i would rather stand on 1 board heights dont worry me but them ipafs no thankyou exspecially the ones that go right up

kingsnorth

if its like ince b the chinese will come in and take it down themselves rebuild it in china and run it 24/7 on high sulpher coal. result we've given them cheap power. costs us a fortune to replace and more pollution goes into atmosphere
