Ive been offered a job in new Zealand(Christchurch) to help rebuild the city after the earthquake, but I have no idea of the process and what I gotta do now.
Any help would be appreciated.

Im working over here at the moment bud . Its pretty **** to be honest . The pay is average and pretty much all the good comercials keep being put n hold due to aftershocks . There isnt really much to do with your free time either, the ski fields are about 1 and a half hours away . Cant surf or swim in the ocean as its full of sewerage because the system is bollixed . All this being said there is plenty of work . Be prepared to scaffold heaps of chimneys while your waiting for anything big . Who is the mob your looking at ?

Mighty mouse

Can the guy that offered you the job,not give you the details of how you get out there with correct permits and visas :worried:

Rigger
They have asked me, what info I need, to give to new zealand immigration.

Tommy cork
I got a email from,CERTIFIED SCAFFOLDING.
I have checked them out, they are a real firm and all that stuff.

how old are u if your under 35 u can get a bunac working visa ive just applied an seams straight forward enough

Go and see immagration consultant and also ask the company who has offered the job if they are a Accredited Company to sponser skilled workers from abroad. If they are Accredited ask for the number.
I think your too old for a working visa, so the consultant is probably the best route.

I was a looked after a company in Queenstown for 5 years and we sponsered scaffs from the UK, but they did use consultants.

Good Luck

Be a good experience M.mouse. Once ya meet a few people, youll be fine. Swimming??? Its a big ocean to be covered in ****, and its the middla f.ckin winter FFS..Dont stay too long..your brain'll slow down like Tommy's lol. Join a football club.best way to meet people. Pound to dollar not good. dollar to pound better. Stay under a year you'll probly get all yur tax back. Good Luck.

so get the bunac visa **** the sponser visas an u dont need 2 stay with 1 company it cost about £500
