Horizontal Safety Lines

I know this won't help Collo but I always thought it was 3 months. We did look at this a couple of times for different applications but it came to nothing.
 
I think you're getting confused with the 3 monthly recorded inspection. What I'm after is the in service life (the age that you throw the thing away) like the 5yrs with harnesses.
 
I believe they require a test every six months , If they pass good, if not they are scrapped and you are in the wallet again :sad:
 
Checked as per BS EN 795.

Kit must obviously be destroyed if it's fukced or fails an inspection.

After 5 years, most things will be.

But no official guidance on the age of the kit - for obvious reasons.
