Hey, iv just joined this forum after hearing its very good. I need a bit of advice, I have got my cisrs trainee scaffolder part 1 card and it expires in July this year, its my second card so I need to do my part 2 before July Dont I? I'm out of work at the moment tho but if been told that I will have to work 6 months before I do my 1 day assessment so does that mean I need to do my part 2 now then work 6 months then do my 1 day assessment before my part 1 card expires in July? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, thanks.
 
Welcome to the Forum, it's all on their website CISRS Don't phone though as no-one on their switchboard or whoever they put you through to knows anything about the card system.
 
Welcome to the scaffs forum fella

Worked with loads of whitby scaffs in past might be in your interest checking out the (Cutty Sark 1975 last visit)or other watering holes frequented by new generation of scaffs.
 
Thanks lads, iv only had about a year experience so is that enough to go and do my part 2 now? also im out of work at the moment so want to get straight back into work scaffolding but if i do my part 2 now iv got more chance of getting a job straight away havnt i. My dad has worked offshore for 30 years so thats where i want to be realy.
