I remember the days when SGB was proud to employ its own men and not subby it out to an agency. sad times now.

SGB was british then fella - Harsco an American Corporation who bought SGB out Say no more run by Bankers its all friendly fire with them no matter of Casualties.

This is going to happen accross the whole country its already happening in glasgow.... These deals will guarentee that full time employment as a scaffolder is going to be a thing of the past.... These agency vultures are killing our game off...... The best way to beat them is to do the same open up an ltd company and provide labour.... al companies want it you would be surprised and it means you can keep your squad in work full time..... Its a pain in the arse but we need to do something.......

I misunderstood a previous question we can confirm that Vital has won the Industrial side of the Harsco business for all agency top up of labour. We have not won the Construction side of the business this is being supplemented by another agency but our requirements are the same none the less.

We would like to however say that all the rates will be dictated by Harsco and nothing will be taken off the trades and labour we supply on site for our service to Harsco.

Harsco using an agency for their labour requirements?
Who'd have thought it?

And there's me thinking that an NASC member would employ it's men directly.
They musn't be going to exceed the NASC rules on direct employment

they will get away with it because as VITAL have stated they are going to use them as TOP UP.
SGB STARTED GOING DOWN THE TUBES WHEN THE 714 SHITT STARTED AS DID MILLS PALMERS AND SCAFFOLDING IN GENERAL
