getting first trip offshore

hey trying too get my first trip offshore. been pestering cape salamis and rbg for nearly 3 month now just wondering if its always this hard trying too get your first trip in the bag??
 
Short answer is usually yes. Keep at it and maybe try and work yourself a couple of contacts amongst the men that are already there. If they need to up man in a hurry, it is not unusual to ask the guys if they have any mates looking for work.
 
Gone are the days when a bottle of Lulu and 200 Regal had the same effect.:cool:
 
I'm looking to get work in a different country. Any tips on how to get out there and if any companies are recruiting?? Not fussy where but preferably a city.

If your deserate and can put up with cloggies the dutch sector will take newbies. Especially British scaffs. Thing the sun shines out of our ar5e. Which it does on course........:D

That was mad bumpin into you on the L10 Alpha the other day pal considering was only speakin 2 u couple of days previous on this. Was glad to get off that L10 Alpha proper bell to bell not in2 that :laugh: on that D15 doin the hanger reckon were gonna blitz it 2moz, might get a lie in Sunday :D an roll on Tuesday! Saved ur number mate an will email u those drawings ASAP my email accounts playin up
