alright mate im ex services and got all my tickets paid for through the job center along with help from the british leigon the if he gets his part 1 and site safety passport along with scaffold tools and harness which the dole will pay for and they with with him being ex services they have to so dont let them fob him off they will be plenty of work kicking off around the country this year that will enable him to get experience he needs for his part2 in a few years you can look up local scaffolding training centres around the uk they are loads i hope this helps i knoww he feels a bit alienated at the moment but things will sort themselfs out in the end its a hard road to take when you get out but no doubt he will adapt message me if you have any questions for me cheers

Im ex grenadiers too. I was absolutly spandangled when i got out too. Dont have a clue about civvy street. Thanks for the advice. Thats good for me too! I will get him something. I think he stillbhas ELCAS Any way. Thank you

Frenchbox has given some good advise but i'd just like to add - we have had 4 ex servicemen come over to us & by liazing with saffa & their welfare officer it is possible to get all your tickets fullt funded by using your army learning credits wthat are available to u for up to 5 years after leaving service.they are tax free to you and are n place to assist your intergration by gaining civilian qualifications.

Hope u find work soon ....even if ya was a craphat;)..lolo
